Hello, everyone! Jesse from The Garza Home Team at RE/MAX North San Antonio here, and today I want to share a glimpse into our new morning routine. As we all know, routines can bring comfort and stability, and sometimes, even our furry family members cannot help but get in on the action.
Our weekday mornings kick off with Rosa making sure our dogs, Cookie and Shadow, are well taken care of. After they have had their morning relief and a hearty breakfast, it’s my turn to join the routine.
Every morning, I have the pleasure of driving our son to school. What makes this experience truly special is the company I have along the way. At the beginning of the school year, Cookie and Shadow did not quite grasp what we were up to. But like any smart pups, they quickly caught on.
It is fascinating how they’ve learned to anticipate our new routine. Maybe it is the sound of car keys jingling or some subtle cues I give, but as soon as they sense it is time to go, they light up with excitement. You can almost feel their energy as they start jumping and racing around the house, as if they are saying, “It is time for our morning adventure! It is time to go!”
Of course, there are mornings when I have early appointments and cannot take them with us. That is when the house falls quiet, and Cookie and Shadow become reserved. But it is in those moments when they remind us of their presence, with their mournful howls seemingly saying, “Take me with you, please! Take me with yooouuuuuu!!!”
It is heartwarming to see how our pets adapt and become an integral part of our daily routines. This newfound morning ritual has not only brought joy to our mornings but also strengthened our bond with Cookie and Shadow.
As we continue to navigate life’s changes and routines, it is these small moments that make our days a bit brighter. We look forward to many more mornings filled with the eager anticipation of our four-legged companions.
