It was a sunny day in 2018 when I first laid eyes on not one, but two majestic peacocks.

Can you imagine the scene? Their beautiful feathers glistened in the sunlight as they gracefully moved about a front yard. Excitement bubbled within me as I hurried home to Rosa and the kids, eager to share my adventure. But they thought I was telling a tall tail.

But oh, fate had more in store. In 2019, the universe conspired to gift me another peacock encounter. This time, my daughter and son were with me, their eyes wide with wonder as we witnessed a lone peacock taking a carefree stroll down the street. It was a sight straight out of a storybook.

And today, the magic multiplied. As I recounted these delightful memories to a client, life played its kind hand again. Not one. Not two, but 5-7 peacocks, a vibrant variety of colors, gathered on the corner of Babcock and Lyceum. Their distinctive calls filled the air, a symphony of nature’s beauty.

Each peacock, with its regal demeanor and captivating plumage, seemed like a character from a fairytale, gracing our everyday world with a touch of whimsy. As they moved gracefully, their feathers swayed in harmony with the breeze, creating a mesmerizing dance of colors.
